He stretched his hand across the table and said, \u201cI want to be the first to congratulate you: you\u2019re very loved of God.\u201d As those words were not shocking enough he said, \u201cIf you will be moved by men\u2019s criticism, you will be moved by their praise: be dead to both!\u201d  Those words rolled over and over in her mind and after getting back to the states she typed it up and sent it to ministry friends and they loved it. She started writing the one liners and called them Pastor\u2019s Punch Lines. A friend told her a couple of years later she should call them Split-Second Sermons and she loved the idea and it was born.
